The Texas Business Software has been designed around project work flows, where all activities can be defined in the terms of projects and expressed in term of tasks. A project can be graphically designed in the work flow editor and stored as a library project, this than can be executed within the system, allocating tasks to the appropriate personal. This makes sure tasks are not forgotten and is properly costed.
Within the Texas Business Software tasks can be completed by either a person or as a TScipt event, that allows users to put stop checks and update internal and external databases.
Tasks within the system do not only record what users are to do, should have done, but also how long it's taken them to complete them. This can then be allocated to a project, and an invoice generated recording the time taken and resources consumed. Tasks are also enable other users within the system to organise their activities around or with the activities of others.
